Every 12 to 18 months the relief valve fails to re-seat and continually drips. This results in a whole unit replacement, would not recommend.

This whole house water filter has been installed for 3 months without 1 drop of water, at the 3 month mark I changed the filter and now I have a leak that I can™™t get to stop

This is a whole house filtration system that is designed to reduce sand, sediment, and rust. Our well has a lot of iron in it and I thought this would help. The housing is sturdy and is pretty simple to install if you know anything about plumbing. The housing comes with a filter wrench which is typically an additional expense with other brands. This system has a magnetic filter change alert light which helps you know when to replace the filter but the canister is clear so you can easily see how dirty the filter is. That is one of my favorite features of this system.

I have often considered installing a central water filter instead of just relying on the one in my refrigerator to clean up drinking water. I am glad I finally got around to doing it. The install was much easier than I anticipated. Of course you can hire a plumber, but this was an easy DIY project.

I love how the GE Whole House Water Filtration System has helped to get my water together and cleaned. It cleared up the sediment and yucky stuff in the water. I love that I can have drinkable water everyday.

The filter works well and you can definitely see a difference in the water quality. The taste of the water is better but not as good as some of the mineral water I buy. I had to get help with installing it but that was fine. I knew I would need some help and it wasn't too bad to install.

I was looking for a water filtration system that was affordable and efficient. The GE system fit the bill. It was super easy to install and made a huge difference in the taste of the water. It did not have a bad aftertaste. So glad I don't have to cart water bottles from the market anymore.

Easy to install. This filtering system was a breeze to install. I simply had to unclip and then install. Test it and voila. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Wayy worthit whole house being filtered is awesome!

This was a very easy to put together. Once done my water is better than before. I like that our water tastes better and that I have no more water lines. My showers feel better too. There is some work to get this connected but there are instructions that are very easy to read. Glad we have this in our home.

GE Whole House Water Filtration System is a great whole house filter. My husband had no trouble installing the unit. We noticed a improvement in water immediately. I no longer notice a smell in our water. I would not drink it before and now it taste excellent. Our water is clear. I love that this does the whole house. I feel so much better knowing all water for showering and cooking is now filtered.

This Really cleaned up our water! Before adding this filter to our incoming water supply, we had a lot of sediment and yucky after taste. Using a 1 micron and carbon filter makes our water drinkable and helps protect our appliances.

This water filtration system is great for us. We had to hire a licensed plumber to install this and it was an easy installation. The system reduces sediment, chlorine taste, & odor in water and for 3 months. It filters water at the main supply and provides clean water to the whole house. The water filter was simple to install as it just goes between the pipes. If one is not handy, or has an older home, a plumber may be needed for installation. We live in a hard water area and have found that our water is less harsh after a few days. I can see a big difference in my skin which is less rough.

I love this whole house filtration system because it's cheaper than buying filters every month for a water picture and filters all the water I use instead of just drinking water. It's easy to use and the filter lasts for three months. There are several different filters that you can use with this depending on what you want to filter out of your water. It provides a list of items you will need to install it so that saved me time and made it easier for my husband to install it. It has a pressure release button which makes it easier to change the filter and even has a by-pass valve for a drier filter change. Not only will I have better tasting water, but this whole house filter is better for my appliances and will help them last longer by reducing buildup since the water is cleaner and free of chemicals and sedimentation. The magnetic filter change alert is an added bonus and will help keep me on track changing the filter. This whole house filtration system is better than some others I've used in the past because it has better features.

I had called GE on 3/02/23 to requests the manufactures specifications on the GXWH20T, specifically the units dimensions H x W X D and also requested if this GXWH20T was a direct replacement for the GXWH20S. The GE service rep explained that GE there are no current specifications for the GXWH20T in the GE data system, and that the GXWH20T is NOT the replacement for the GXWH20S™¦™¦™¦™¦

Was very difficult to SEAL the cartridge body to the top without leaking .... finally succeeded...The design is awkward because the O-RING came shipped loose and not in the groove of the cartridge body.... The GE undersink model had a better design O RING SEAL.
